Air purifiers operate by taking in contaminated air and trapping small particles into their filters. Typically, the purifiers use HEPA filters. A HEPA filter is a mechanical air filter; forcing air through a fine mesh that traps harmful particles.

Diamondtrap has introduced filter medias offering portable air purification HEPA grade filtering with the best performance and the highest Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). In such filter the air is flowing with high efficiency. As compared to traditional filters the new technology provides multiple advantages such as enabling the user to benefit from lower noise level (-75% reduction) as well as lower energy consumption (-30%).

The unique aseptic and high filtration performance is achieved by unleashing the nanodiamond unique properties such as tunable charge permanent electret with very high surface area. Each filter is provided with billions of small electrically charged nanodiamonds able to capture and neutralize the pathogens.
